r. Zachery Hulet is a rather new and eager primary care optometrist who enjoys seeing patients of all ages. He attended Ferris State University where he received his Bachelor of Biology. He then continued my education at the Illinois College of Optometry where he received his Doctor of Optometry. During his time at ICO, he tutored courses for classes below him. His favorite were the Optometry courses during which he taught students to perform skills used in the exam lanes. He is comfortable in managing ocular disease as well as fitting soft contact lenses including single vision, toric, multifocal, and monovision formats. He grew up on the west side of Michigan and He am happy to be back treating patients here. When he is not seeing patients, he enjoys exploring the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with my family.

Dr. Paul Hulse is a native of Fort Collins, Colorado. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Northern Colorado and Pacific University. Dr. Hulse then went on to obtain his doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University. Dr. Hulse interned at Indian Health Services in Yakima, Washington where he managed many patients with diabetic eye disease. He also interned at two practices focusing on management of vision problems after brain injury, pediatrics, and vision therapy. In pursuit of his passion, Dr. Paul Hulse completed a residency in vision rehabilitation at the State University of New York where he worked extensively with pediatric patients in the management of visual tracking and teaming disorders focusing on improving reading and school performance. He also worked with traumatic brain injury patients on problems ranging from double vision, visual field cuts, and motion hypersensitivity. Upon returning to Colorado Dr. Hulse obtained hospital privileges at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and the Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital where he continued his work with traumatic brain injury patients. Dr. Hulse has published articles on brain injury as well as presenting a continuing education course to his optometric peers. Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and two children as well as rock climbing, biking, hiking, camping, and skiing.

By providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, diabetic eye exams, contact lens fitting, myopia management, binocular visual dysfunctions, and ocular disease management. Hobbies/Interests: Hiking, golfing, eating, basketball, and dogs!

I know what it is like not to see. I truly enjoy educating patients on how to see their best. In 1999, I had LASIK and have never looked back. How are you helping patients live their best lives? As a dry eye sufferer and successful LASIK patient, I guide patients to the best treatments specific for their individual needs. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? I look to exceed patients' expectations by fulfilling their needs and educating them on the best treatment choices individualized for them. How are you impacting your local community? I'm assistant basketball cat herder/ coach. I love helping people make better lifestyle choices and supporting local charities. Hobbies/Interests: Family, Scuba Diving, Football, Rugby and Soccer.

The reason I became an optometrist is: As a person that wore glasses at the age of 15mos, in some way, I feel my personal journey contributed to my decision to be an Optometrist, coupled with growing up in a family of physicians, and working in my family's practice, I knew I wanted to help people and be a health care provider. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Having a positive impact on our patients' daily lives. Making their everyday clear to achieve what they need to accomplish and more! My favorite part of helping my patients is: It doesn't get old, after 30+ years, the joy in watching someone clearly seeing the world for the first time. In my spare time, I enjoy: Boating, Hiking, Bicycling, snowmobiling.

The reason I became an optometrist is: I find caring for patients’ vision needs exciting and thought-provoking. I was encouraged to pursue a career in optometry by my mother who was an ophthalmologist. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Getting to address each patient's unique visual needs based on their own work and school needs, hobbies, and other lifestyle-related visual demands. I also enjoy exploring God's wisdom in the way He designed the human eye and the visual system. In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with family; Being outdoors; Relaxing.

Professional Achievements/Associations: Recipient of the VSP/AAOF practice excellence scholarship, Student Ambassador, member Texas optometric Association, American optometry Association, American Academy of optometry Association. Clinical Certifications & Specialties: Extern at practice that were heavily focused on Glaucoma and performed LPI and SLT on sever patients. Also did intense light pulse therapy, Punctal plugs and gland expressions on dry eyes along with treating vast variety of eye diseases. What drives your passion for optometry? helping people see better one eye at a time. How are you helping patients live their best lives? Helping them see 20/20 without any headaches or eye strain. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? It makes me feel happy knowing that with the help of glasses or contacts I can make their life easier. Help them experience the important things in life. How are you impacting your local community? I often volunteer at local food bank and help fight hunger around the community. Hobbies/Interests: Basketball, swimming, trying new food, spending time with friends and family , trading stocks, traveling and exploring new places.

I love helping people, and enjoy knowing that I can make a difference for my patients while doing what I love. In my spare time, I enjoy being with family, playing guitar, and paddle boarding with my dog and husband.

I get satisfaction every day from helping my patients understand their eyes or vision and they come away from the exam learning something new. How are you helping patients live their best lives? I help patients live their best lives by providing the latest proven technologies in eyecare, making improvements in vision throughout their lifetime. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? I believe a transformational eyecare experience involves sharing knowledge with my patients, so they learn something new about eye health and vision at every appointment. How are you impacting your local community? The biggest impact I have in the Holland area is providing prescription safety glasses for thousands of workers, allowing them to perform their best, which in turn impacts everybody that uses the products they manufacture. Learning about each patient’s goals and/or hobbies to help tailor the exam to maximize vision and the overall eye health in all aspects of their lives. Dr. Nusrat Jahan received her bachelor’s degree in pharmacology from Stony Brook University. She pursued her Doctorate at the State of New York College of Optometry. She has completed various clinical rotations to expand her skill set, including rotations in ocular disease at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, and in specialty contact lenses at the University Eye Center in Midtown Manhattan. Dr. Jahan provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages with various ocular conditions. She strives to listen wholeheartedly to meet the needs of his patients and give them the family-like experience they deserve. Outside the office, Dr. Jahan enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
