Kelly Fallin, OD
When he was growing up, Dr. Kelly Fallin had a lot of eye problems. Thankfully, his eye doctor helped him tremendously as his visual system developed. That doctor’s friendliness and welcoming demeanor is what inspired Dr. Fallin to help others in the same way. Dr. Fallin attended Texas Tech University for his undergraduate studies and the University of Houston for optometry school, where he was a part of Phi Beta Kappa—the Optometric Honor Society.
Something he really prides himself on is staying up to date on the latest treatment modalities and current research in the optometry field. Dr. Fallin is most passionate about the advancements made in the early detection of macular degeneration and glaucoma. As he sees it, the earlier pathology is found, the better clinical outcomes there are for patients.
To Dr. Fallin, the most rewarding part of being an optometrist is the relationships he builds daily with his patients. He loves making a positive impact on their lives. This is what truly makes him excited to come to work every day. He gives back to his local community by volunteering with Relay for Life, Race for the Cure, and the American Diabetes Association.
Dr. Fallin has been fortunate enough to be a part of his local office team for over 10 years. They push each other daily, and it is this drive that carries their practice toward the goal of exceeding their patients’ expectations.
When he is not working, Dr. Fallin enjoys traveling, boating, wakesurfing, attending Texas Tech sporting events, and spending time with his family, especially his nephews.
