Professional Achievements and Associations: American Optometric Association; Alabama Optometric Association; Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce “Small Businessperson of the Year” 2012. Clinical Certifications and Specialties: I provide primary eye care for the entire family. The reason I became an optometrist is: I became an optometrist to help enhance people’s life through maintaining and preserving their most precious sense-vision. My favorite part of helping my patients is: My favorite part of helping my patients is seeing their smiles when I can enhance their vision and thus their lives. In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with my three children (Sarah, Ava, and Reed) and travel.

Dr. Jason Witters graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He completed his residency at the University of Alabama School of Optometry. His postgraduate studies include advanced ocular therapeutics, cataract, glaucoma and refractive surgery management.

Dr. MacKayla Wolfe received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2024 from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. She spent her externship year at Michiana Eye Center in Mishawaka, Indiana, Jackie Walorski VA Clinic in Mishawaka,IN and MyEyeDr in Westfield, IN. She served on the board for College of Optometrists in Vision Development, Neuro-Ophthalmic Rehabilitation Association and American Association of Optometrists. Throughout her four years of optometry school she was also involved in assisting with numerous vision screenings with DePaul University Athletics as well as serving as a technician in the pediatric department at Illinois College of Optometry. She is originally from LaOtto, IN and moved to Muncie, IN to obtain her undergraduate degree and then later moved to Chicago, Illinois to obtain her doctorate. She decided to move back to the Northern Indiana area to begin her career.

I am an graduate of Skidmore College and the SUNY College of Optometry. I’m doing my best to impact my local community by providing top notch eye care. I respect everyone’s time and will serve my patients promptly and efficiently. I also serve my local community through other non-profit organizations helping to provide funding, education, and services to those in need. When I’m not doctoring or parenting my three children, my hobbies include music, building high end computer systems, gaming, and community service.

The ability to help people achieve their best vision and promote ocular health through educating my patients. How are you helping patients live their best lives? The gift of sight can so easily be taken for granted. Educating patients on the need for annual eye exams to monitor ocular health and seeing their reaction to how their systemic health can affect their vision is priceless. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? A transformational Eyecare experience means I have delivered a quality eye exam with a good chair side manner. I’ve connected with the patient and made them feel their ocular health and visual needs have been addressed to the best of my ability. Hobbies/Interests: I love hiking and spending time with my family.

Dr. Ryan Wooldridge is a Colorado Springs native. He completed his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and then proceeded to the University of Houston, College of Optometry where he graduated summa cum laude. Prior to optometry school, Dr. Wooldridge worked as an optician for three years and gained valuable knowledge which allows him to provide the highest quality refractive care. His interests include refractive care, contact lenses, LASIK co-management, and medical optometry including red eye management. Dr. Wooldridge has a passion for helping people which was developed early in life and was strengthened when he went on 2 separate medical mission trips, once to Panama, and once to Nicaragua. During his time off, Ryan enjoys traveling, exploring the Denver and Boulder areas with his fiancé who is a residency trained optometrist and catching up with his Colorado friends and family.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I live in the Tomball area, and I thoroughly enjoy helping the visual needs of people in my community. Hobbies/Interests: Movies, jogging, spending time with my family.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I love primary care optometry and the variety of patients it allows me to serve and know. The personal aspects of the exam and forming long-lasting relationships with my patients are my favorite parts of optometry. Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy biking, hiking, swimming, birdwatching, breeding exotic ducks, and participating in my church.

Providing a comprehensive eye exam to assess the health of my patient's eyes and make the best recommendations for each patient to provide contacts and glasses that meet their individual needs. In my spare time, I enjoy: I enjoy walking and listening to music.

Dr. Jin Yang, OD, Ph.D., a graduate of Nova Southeastern University's College of Optometry. Dr. Yang holds a medical license in China, where she worked as an ophthalmologist for many years prior to move to the United States. Her extensive education includes a co-training PhD from Columbia University and Tianjin Medical University, and a two-year postdoctoral training at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. I work with my church to serve our local community. We help the elderly get to doctors appt's and get groceries. Will try to find a new church once I move to the area! Hobbies/Interests: Artist - I like to paint, hike, play with my dogs (golden retrievers).
