About Dr. Christopher Vincent

Dr. Chris Vincent, an optometrist practicing at MyEyeDr. in Austin, Texas, has a passion for providing exceptional eye care. He embarked on a journey to fulfill his lifelong goal of becoming an optometrist after graduating from the University of Wyoming. He then obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. During his time at NSU College of Optometry, Dr. Vincent was selected to complete his specialty clinical rotations at renowned eye care institutions across the country. Alongside his doctoral studies, Dr. Vincent served as a research director and co-authored a clinical study focusing on simultaneous vision in bifocal contact lenses. Additionally, he was chosen to participate in the esteemed "Successful RGP Fitting" program sponsored by the RGP Lens Institute, where he was a finalist for Ed Bennett's RGP Scholarship. Dr. Vincent's commitment to professional growth and patient well-being led him to earn his Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry in 2007. In the same year, he was elected to the Colorado Board of Trustees, where he served as a Trustee for a two-year term. During his tenure, Dr. Vincent contributed as a clinical investigator for various ophthalmic industry companies. Driven by a desire to expand his horizons, Dr. Vincent relocated to Austin, Texas. It was during a family vacation to central Texas that the Vincent family fell in love with Austin and its vibrant community. Driven by a deep commitment to his patients' well-being, Dr. Vincent continues to provide comprehensive eye care services, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience to improve the eye and vision health of patients in the Austin area. Outside of his practice, Dr. Vincent cherishes his role as husband and father. He and his wife have two children, and they find immense joy in sharing their lives together.

Our eyes allow us to experience the world around us fully. I have many relatives and family members who experienced many serious eye problems. From a very young age, I became very attuned to the impact our vision has on the quality of our life. How are you helping patients live their best lives? No two humans are alike, therefore my treatment plans and prescriptions are tailored for the individual. Helping a patient figure out their specific needs and coming up with solutions is very gratifying and can impact the quality of their day to day life. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? A patient should feel educated and empowered about their own eye health. Patient's should leave our office feeling taken care of and at ease about their eyes and vision. How are you impacting your local community? I am a proponent of holistic and preventative health measures. I love to guide individuals and my patients on mental wellness, meditation, breath work, and healthy lifestyles. I raise money for Alzheimer's prevention for the local community as well. DR. NEHAD VIRANI

About Dr. NEHAD VIRANI

Dr. Nehad Virani is a certified therapeutic optometrist as well as an optometric glaucoma specialist. In addition to performing routine eye examinations, Dr. Virani is licensed to diagnose and treat eye injuries, eye infections, and eye diseases such as Dry Eyes, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, Cataracts, as well as many other ocular diseases. She also fits a wide range of contact lenses, especially those for hard-to-fit patients who need correction for astigmatism and/or bifocals. Dr. Virani stays current on the latest advancements on medical eye care as well as new contact lens technologies. In addition, she offers consultations and co-management for laser vision correction / LASIK. Dr. Virani is committed to providing outstanding, personalized eye care to the Richmond area residents. Dr. Virani attended University of Houston and she graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Psychology with a Mathematics minor. She then moved to Florida to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry and Vision Science degree from NOVA Southeastern University. Dr. Virani completed her training and internships at the Indian Health Services Reservation in Oklahoma.

Dr. Shiroz (Rose) Virani earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University Of Houston College Of Optometry. Dr. Virani has been practicing optometry since 1988 and is a certified therapeutic optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She is a member of the Harris County Optometric Society, Texas Optometric Association, and a member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Virani is a Diplomate of The American Board of Optometry. She also serves as a board member for Child Advocate of Ft Bend and HGI Counseling Center. Dr Virani has 2 children and loves to travel with her family and enjoy the outdoors. She also commits time as a volunteer doctor to the underprivileged patients through various organizations.

What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? When a person puts on their new glasses, and they have that “Wow” look. There’s no better feeling as an eye is professional. DR. Hieu Vu-Gia

About Dr. Hieu Vu-Gia

Dr. Hieu Vu-Gia earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in New York City. His interest in eye care led him to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, where he earned his Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Vu-Gia is a highly trained optometrist with extensive experience in primary eye care, contact lenses, treating and managing eye diseases, and co-management of refractive surgery. He is certified in orthokeratology (a leading option in the control of myopia in children and a non-surgical alternative to refractive surgery) by the manufacturers and designers of several orthokeratology lenses. Dr. Vu-Gia is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control. Dr. Vu-Gia is proud to have pursued his dream of practicing with a tradition of excellence in eye care. Patients enjoy his outgoing personality and caring attitude. He practices in Oakton and is accepting new patients. He currently resides in Northern Virginia with his two children and enjoys golfing.

About Dr. Stephen Waclawski

Dr. Stephen Waclawski completed his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin and earned his graduate degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in 1980. He takes pride in providing the best eye care to each and every one of his patients, and makes it a point to take a personal interest in all of his patient’s concerns. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time on the lake in the summer, playing piano, and skiing in the winter. He and his wife, Renee, have four sons: Michael (who practices at MyEyeDr. as well), Joe, Stephen, and Paul. DR. Eric Wang

About Dr. Eric Wang

Dr. Eric Wang was born in Houston, Texas where he proudly attended the University of Houston and received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with Magna Cum Laude in 2015. He continued in his education and attended the University of Houston College of Optometry and received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2019. Shortly after, Dr. Wang received his Therapeutic Optometric License from the Texas Board of Optometry, followed by his Optometric Glaucoma Specialist License. Dr. Wang’s externships included a semester rotation at Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, Texas, where he was exposed to a wide range of ocular pathology and advanced contact lens fitting including myopia control. His next site included a semester rotation at Golden Eye Clinic in Center, Texas, where he handled numerous encounters of corneal foreign body removals, minor surgical procedures, and ocular pathology for the rural population. In addition to optometry, Dr. Wang enjoys playing tennis, badminton, basketball, and billiards.
