Professional Achievements and Associations: Colorado Optometric Association; American Optometric Association; Key person for the Colorado Optometric Association 1999. Clinical Certifications and Specialties: Certified to fit Corneal Refractive Lenses. I diagnose and treat glaucoma and we have the special equipment to follow retinal diseases that do not currently require treatment. The reason I became an optometrist is: I like to help people. I like the specialized equipment. As optometrists we make patients’ lives better every day. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Seeing patients every year. I know what’s happening with their eyes, but also in their lives. In my spare time, I enjoy: My husband, Australian shepherd and I like to hike and ski.

Dr. Michael Onyon has practiced optometry for 33 years. He has served as a board member of the New Hampshire Optometric Association as well as the New Hampshire state liaison for the American Optometric Society. Dr. Onyon stays current with the latest advances in optometry and the optical industry, regularly attending conferences throughout the country. He is a certified orthokeratology practitioner with WAVE and Paragon. Other special interests include treatment of dry eye conditions.

The reason I became an optometrist is: I am the third generation of Optometrists in my family and have always admired those that precede me. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Listening carefully then just doing my best for them. In my spare time, I enjoy: Building fine furniture. Home repairs-first mine, now my son's. I converted a 1975 Porsche 914 to electric 12 years ago and am constantly improving its performance as technology advances.

Jon Park, Optometrist specializes in contact lenses, vision correction, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases. Dr. Park, a Carrollton native, received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Texas-Austin in 1997. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2002 from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Park performed his internship, with an emphasis in primary care, at Quantico Naval Medical Clinic in Quantico, Virginia and at Sharp Eye Consultants in San Antonio, with a special emphasis in ocular disease. Dr. Park is a member of the Dallas County Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association and a member of the Irving Chamber of Commerce. In his free time, Dr. Park enjoys golf, working out and watching football. He and his wife Hannah and three children live in Flower Mound.
