My grandfather was an eye doctor, a navy veteran, and had a strong faith, and he developed in all of us a sense of commitment to serving others. I always saw him as a role-model and my goal has been to make even a fraction of an impact that he made on the world. My favorite part of helping my patients is: In the past I dealt with some major health problems and throughout the countless hospitalizations and various surgical procedures I encountered a wide variety of doctors. Unfortunately, I didn't always have the best health care practitioners looking out for me, but they were overshadowed by the ones who did. That difficult time highlighted for me the importance of having a doctor who listened and who truly cared. I hope to care for my patients the same way that those doctors did for me. In my spare time, I enjoy: watching the Buffalo Bills go to the Super Bowl (at some point). I also enjoy working out, spending time with my friends, family, and fiancée, reading, playing golf, Charlotte Knights baseball games, snow, and water skiing, and traveling.
