How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? By educating patients about the eye and visual system so they can be great advocates for their own healthcare. By providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children including contact lens evaluations. By providing medical urgent care visits for ‘pink/red’ eyes, foreign bodies in the eye or sudden loss or changes in vision (including flashes and floaters). By diagnosing and treating ocular surface diseases including blepharitis, ocular rosacea, meibomian gland dysfunction and inflammatory dry eye disease By providing diabetic eye exams and managing other ocular diseases including glaucoma and cataracts. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? We provide Comprehensive Eye Exams for Adults and Children, Contact Lens Fitting, Diabetic Eye Exams, and Ocular Disease Management. Hobbies: Coaching Basketball, Baseball, Softball and Soccer.

Dr. Johnson is originally from Palmyra, PA right outside of Hershey, PA and is happy to relocate to Northern Delaware. He completed his undergraduate education at Penn State Main Campus earning a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Spanish. He went to optometry school at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia and graduated with High Honors. He completed rotations in ocular disease, hospital ocular health, and pediatrics in both Pennsylvania and South Carolina. After graduating optometry school, Dr. Johnson completed a residency in Ocular Disease in Philadelphia, PA and then moved back home to practice at an ophthalmology practice in Central PA for several years. He has now moved to Delaware and is happily accepting new patients. In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys exercise and running, going to the beach, playing Nintendo, watching Star Wars, spending time with his family and friends, and playing with his chocolate lab, Lexie.

Dr. Sophia Johnson attended Ferris State University and is a graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry. She helps her local community see their best by providing them with comprehensive eye care and a welcoming environment in her practice. Dr. Johnson likes to spend her spare time reading, painting, and swimming.

The reason I became an optometrist is: Always fascinated with the equipment at the eye doctor growing up. My favorite part of helping my patients is: giving them the best vision possible to they can live their best lives. In my spare time, I enjoy: Running in the parks; splaying sports with my kids.

Dr. Julia Jose completed her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida. Her Optometry degree was completed in Nova Southeastern University, where she also earned a second bachelor’s degree in Vision Sciences. She completed specialty training in diabetic eye exams and ocular disease. Dr. Jose always had a passion for this field, but her passion grew further after she went on a mission trip to Nicaragua during the end of her second year of optometry school. During this eye-opening trip, she helped provide eye care to over 1,000 underserved people of Nicaragua. Dr. Jose is compassionate with her patients, thorough, and most of all personable, which is the biggest compliment she gets. She treats everyone on her chair like they are her friend or family. Dr. Jose moved to Dallas, TX from sunny Florida at the beginning of 2022 after getting married to her husband who is a Dallas native. In her spare time, Dr. Jose likes to spend time with her family and friends, travel, and find new things to do in Dallas.

Dr. Angelica Juarez was born and raised in Galveston, Texas and attended the University of Houston where she received a Bachelors Degree in Biology. Dr. Juarez then graduated from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry. She is a board certified Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma specialist. Passionate about eye care and committed to improving patient outcomes, Dr. Juarez is dedicated to building strong, trusting relationships with patients, taking time to listen to their concerns and offer personalized care. Outside of work, Dr. Juarez enjoys spending time outdoors, watching sports and reading.

Undergraduate Education: The College of Wooster and Cleveland State University; Optometry School: Illinois College of Optometry; Professional Achievements/Associations: I've previously served patients in several Ohio locations as well as in the Richmond, VA area. Clinical Certifications & Specialties: My particular areas of interest are primary care optometry and dry eye. What drives your passion for optometry? How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? Dr. Kabiri strives to provide exceptional comprehensive eye care to all patients ranging from children to geriatric adults. Dr. Kabiri specializes in dry eye therapy, myopia management, and contact lens exams. Dr. Kabiri is passionate about giving back to the community and is proud to be part of organizations including Lions Club International, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, and Global Medical Training. Hobbies/Interests: Outside of taking care of her patients, Dr. Kabiri enjoys staying active by going to the gym, hiking, and playing in an adult league soccer club. Some of her favorite hobbies include reading, listening to educational podcasts, and sharing eyecare health/tips through her social media Instagram.

Undergraduate Education: Northern Michigan University. Optometry School: Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Professional Achievements and Associations: I am a member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. I became an optometrist because I grew up with the experience of needing glasses and contacts at a young age. It sparked my curiosity about the human eye and the science behind best vision correction. Through my many years of schooling and clinical experiences, I recognized that being an optometrist wasn't just about diagnosing refractive errors or prescribing lenses; it was about building meaningful relationships with patients, understanding their unique needs, and helping them live their best lives with clear vision. Each patient encounter enforces the life-changing impact optometry has on all individuals. Hobbies/Interests: In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, watching the Green Bay Packers, and walking my puppy, Rudy.
