Dr. Steven Guzik, Owner of Primary Eyecare Professionals, graduated from Loras College in May of 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He obtained his Optometric Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in May 1998. While attending ICO, Dr. Guzik received the Southwest Contact Lens Society Scholarship. While working at the Wesley-Jessen Corporation, Dr. Guzik was an assistant clinical moderator for optometric students from the Illinois College of Optometry and Indiana University. He aided fourth-year optometric students with clinical decisions on diagnosing and treating ocular ailments. While at Wesley-Jessen, he obtained extensive knowledge and experience with several types of contacts and fitting techniques. In addition, Dr. Guzik has participated in contact lens workshops for third-year optometric students at the Illinois College of Optometry since 1999. He previously served as a clinical proctor with the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. As a proctor, his responsibility was to assess the clinical skills of fourth-year optometric students. He specializes in advanced contact lens fittings, myopia management, ocular disease cases, and pediatric optometry.

Dr. Angela Haas received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry. She has experience performing comprehensive medical and routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, pre- and post-op surgical care, and more at various clinics. A second generation Optometrist originally from South Carolina, Dr. Haas moved to Colorado after completing a rotation in Colorado Springs at the Air Force Academy during Optometry school. She is an active member of the Colorado Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. During her schooling, Dr. Haas participated in the Student Volunteers in Optometric Services to Humanity, volunteering her time in Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, and Colombia where she and her team saw over 4,000 patients. Dr. Haas prides herself on her positive attitude and delivers quality patient care with a smile. Her bubbly personality and passion for optometry make her a favorite of patients of all ages. Dr. Haas loves the Colorado live music scene and mountains. She also enjoys college football (specifically the Carolina Gamecocks), traveling, skiing (both water and snow), and is an active member of the volunteer organization Kiwanis International.

Undergraduate Education: St Mary’s University, Winona MN. Optometry School: Illinois College of Optometry. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I treat my patients as though they were all my family, I try to find the best solution to their ocular problems and improve their vision. Hobbies/Interests: Training my horses to ride and drive, managing my farm and livestock, craft work using all kinds of mediums, yarn, beads etc.

Dr. Catherine Hall began her undergraduate work at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She completed her doctorate at the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1998, receiving three letters of clinical excellence. She is a member of the Dallas County Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and National Glaucoma Society. When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs, and gardening.

Dr. Hall is a residency trained optometric physician, born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. She earned her Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Florida. Dr. Hall then obtained a doctorate in optometry at Nova Southeastern University, graduating with highest honors. She pursued further education and completed a residency at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center. Dr. Hall is committed to her patients’ ocular health and vision. She provides thorough visual and medical eye examinations. She enjoys fitting specialty contact lenses, including scleral lenses and corneal refractive therapy. Dr. Hall works closely with local ophthalmologists to ensure her patients’ are continued to be cared for outside of the scope of optometry. Dr. Hall enjoys giving back to the community and has devoted her time to several vision screenings at homeless medical camps in St. Petersburg and volunteers her time at the Clearwater Free Clinic. Dr. Hall resides in Tampa with her husband and their dog, Finn. She enjoys running, weightlifting, hiking and watching college football. Go Gators!

Providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, diabetic eye exams, contact lens fitting, binocular visual dysfunctions, and ocular disease management. Hobbies/Interests: Cycling and weightlifting.

Dr. Leonard Hampton is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry and has been in private practice in Memphis for over 36 years. He is an adjunct faculty member for Southern College of Optometry, a Senior Examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, and the former president of the West Tennessee Optometric Society. He is married to Diane. Together, they have two children, Hallie (Ricky) and Will, and 2 grandchildren.

Professional Achievements/Associations: AOA/MOA. What drives your passion for optometry? The diversity of an average day. Being able to simply help people see the world better and being able to manage medical issues that may have a major impact on their life. How are you helping patients live their best lives? Helping them discover their visual needs and how that can impact their day-to-day lives. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? If I can make someone's day by giving them an exceptional experience, then I feel like I am making a difference in my community and the world. How are you impacting your local community? By taking specific care of their needs, I feel I am helping everyone be their best self. Hobbies/Interests: Family, Golf, Boating, and Motorcycles.

Dr. John K. Hardy is a 1971 graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. His post-graduate training and certifications include: Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease in 1992 at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, Optometric Glaucoma Specialist course and licensing in 2001 at the University of Houston, and Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry in 2011. He maintains his clinical skills through extensive annual continuing education concentrating on contact lenses and anterior segment eye diseases.

Undergraduate Education: Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medical Studies from the University of Dayton. Optometry School: University of Pikeville, Kentucky College of Optometry. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? Being an optometrist means bringing primary care through vision to my local community and the best way to accomplish that is through listening and coming up with a treatment plan that works well for the patient’s lifestyle. Hobbies/Interests: Reading, walking my dog, biking, spending time with friends and family.

Comprehensive eye examinations for families, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma treatments, contact lens exams and fittings, and other ocular disease management. Hobbies/Interests: includes golfing, woodworking, grandchildren, and working (landscaping) around my home in Liberty Township.

Dr. Harrington's passion for helping people to see their best started at the young age of 10, when her grandfather lost most of his vision to diabetic retinopathy. She began working as an assistant in an Optometrist's office at 16 years old and throughout her education worked in every office role. Since graduating Optometry school, Dr. Harrington has held several positions including private practice owner, corporate affiliations and at Veterans Affairs Medical Centers. She has developed programs in Telehealth, student education and the first residency program at the Erie VAMC. Dr. Harrington's commitment to her patients and staff is recognized by the many awards she has received in clinical care and administration. Dr. Harrington loves spending time with her three children and Goldendoodle, “Salty Dawg.” Her and her family love going to the beach, boating and having fun in the sun. She has recently started to learn to golf so she can keep up with her children on the golf course! In her down time she likes reading and photography. She shares the love of peanut butter with her Goldendoodle and can never turn down a Reeses!

Undergraduate Education: UNC at Chapel Hill, B.S., Biology; Optometry School: Pennsylvania College of Optometry; Professional Achievements and Associations: American Optometric Association, NC Optometric Association; The reason I became an optometrist is because I wanted to pursue some kind of health profession. I enjoy helping others. I worked as an optometric technician with a local optometrist in undergrad and realized that it would likely be a good fit for me. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family--especially outdoors. My favorite part of helping my patients is making sure their eyes stay healthy and solving their vision problems. Talking with my patients throughout the day sometimes makes the day fly by while I'm working.
