This was a “WOW, I can see clearly now…” amazing experience. So amazing, that the value of clear eyesight spoke to me that day and led me to want to create that WOW experience for others. Therefore, I chose to become an optometrist. My favorite part of helping my patients is: The “that’s amazing” expression that lights up a patient face when they see better brings me joy. Seeing this expression daily is rewarding. These are the reasons I love being an optometrist because I get to improve the lives of people every day by helping them see.
