Undergraduate Education: Originally from New Hampshire, Dr. Thomas got his undergraduate degree from Colby College, where he studied Music and Classical Civilization. He went on to get a master’s degree in music theory from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Optometry School: Dr. Thomas attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston, where he received his Doctorate in Optometry. Professional Achievements and Associations: Cr. Thomas is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Maryland Optometric Association, and the Central Maryland Optometric Association. Clinical Certifications and Specialties: Dr, Thomas has been certified by the Brilliant Futures Myopia Management Program. The reason I became an optometrist is: Following in my father’s footsteps, I wanted to use my natural talents both in the arts and the sciences to find meaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of other people. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Getting to know each of my patients and being able to help them see their best! In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with my wife and two boys. I love to travel and learn about new people and cultures. I enjoy reading and hiking.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? Serving my patients in all areas of their daily visual needs and treating each patient as if they were my own family – true quality care is my utmost desire, and my hope is that each person I encounter feels like they were thoroughly cared for. Hobbies/Interests: Road trips, coffee, and finding new places to eat with my wife.

The reason I became an optometrist is: Always wanted to be in the medical field and the eyes are amazing. Being able to correct a patient’s vision for the first time is very rewarding. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Being able to get them to see better and keeping their vision from getting worse by monitoring for any disease and catch it early. I enjoy the trust and friendship I have developed over the many years with my patients. In my spare time, I enjoy: Golfing, traveling.

Sarah E. Thompson grew up in the Chicago area. She received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University and went on to fulfill her professional degree at Indiana University School of Optometry. She then moved to Denver in June 2005 to begin her optometric career. Dr. Thompson appreciates working in a private practice setting where she can focus on patient education and quality eye care. She is trained to perform comprehensive eye examinations, co-manage cataract and laser surgeries, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, fit a variety of contact lenses, perform pediatric examinations, and treat dry or red eyes. In her spare time, Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I have always thought Optometry was a unique way to provide a helping hand directly into the everyday lives of others. With that in mind, I strive to help patients by providing comprehensive eye exams to make sure they leave with the best vision possible. Hobbies: I enjoy hanging out with friends/family, dancing, gaming, and consuming music/media from other countries (particularly Korean pop music and dramas)!

Professional Achievements and Associations: Member of American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association. The reason I became an optometrist is: I remember the joy and thankfulness I felt when my optometrist gave me corrective lenses for the first time. I want others to experience the same feelings, and I'm thankful I get to help. My favorite part of helping my patients is: The joy I see when they notice an improvement in their vision with correction. Also, treating any eye pain and discomfort they may experience. In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with my family. My wife Emily and three kids; Zack, Noah and Maeleigh. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and playing sports. I love serving and spending time at my church.

Undergraduate Education: New York Institute of Technology. Optometry School: Pennsylvania School of Optometry at Salus University. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? As an optometrist, I strive to provide every patient of mine with quality patient care. By treating people with thorough exams and assessing their ocular health, I do my best to treat everyone the same way I would treat my family members in my chair. Through compassion, dedication, and pride, the management of your eye care becomes my top priority as we build a local family together! Hobbies/Interests: Hanging out with family & friends, traveling, reading.

Dr. Tidswell is a native of southern Colorado having grown up in Lamar, CO. He received his undergraduate degree from Adams State University in Alamosa, CO and graduated with Honors from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. He has provided eyecare to the southern Colorado area since 1984 and has lived in Colorado Springs since 2005. Dr. Tidswell loves to spend time with his wife and 3 grown daughters who reside in Colorado Spring, Alaska, and South Carolina. Away from the office, he enjoys traveling and being with his family.

Undergraduate Education: Indiana University Bloomington. Optometry School: Indiana University School of Optometry. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? By providing personalized care to patients of all ages. Including diabetic eye exams, contact lens fitting, glaucoma evaluation, pediatric eye exams and ocular disease management. Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with my husband & two young sons (Jack & Clark), home improvement projects, going on walks with our Wheaten Terrier (Oreck) and cooking.

Dr. Till graduated from Indiana School of Optometry in 2017. While in school he was a Dean’s Scholar and focused his research on concussions and involuntary eye movements. This experience allowed him to combine his passion for athletics with optometric care. He was also a research assistant in the Optics Research Lab and learned a tremendous amount about the various properties of different contact lenses, particularly in relation to dry eyes. Dr. Till completed external rotations at the Dorn VA Medical Center, Huntington VA Medical Center, Quantico Naval Health Care Center, and Indianapolis Eye Care Center. While on rotations he received extensive training in comprehensive medical optometry and contact lenses. Dr. Till lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Chelsea, and his two sons, Jack and Clark. In his free time, he enjoys doing projects around the house, playing guitar, and playing with their dog, Oreck.

Dr. Todd received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. A member of the American Optometric Association and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists, Dr. Todd has been practicing for over 20 years, specializing in dry eye disease, specialized contact fittings, including toric and multifocal lenses, and emergency eye care. She has been a speaker and contributor to many ophthalmic and optometric audiences and journals on the topics of dry eye disease and contact lenses.

Professional Achievements and Associations: Delaware Optometric Association; American Optometric Association. The reason I became an optometrist is: I started wearing glasses and contacts at a young age and always thought the eye was interesting. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Is being able to make a difference in their lives by providing better vision. In my spare time, I enjoy: Playing all types of sports and being outside as much as possible.
