The reason I became an optometrist is: The eyes are truly fascinating and is a great example of how the whole body and brain work together. My favorite part of helping my patients is: I enjoy talking to my patients and listening to their needs to achieve an individualized patient centered approach. In my spare time, I enjoy: Relaxing, nature, food and culture, exploring new restaurants and places, exercising (particularly yoga, barre, Pilates), spending time family and with my pets- currently I have two cats.

Dr. Lyes Souadi is a dedicated optometrist with a strong passion for providing exceptional eye care. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Souadi grew up with a love for sports, actively playing soccer and basketball throughout his youth. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Texas at San Antonio before pursuing his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Optometry. Dr. Souadi is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain optimal eye health. He combines his medical expertise with a personalized approach to care, ensuring each patient feels heard and supported. Outside of the office, Dr. Souadi enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, fishing, or playing pickup soccer, he loves staying active and connected with nature. Ann Marie Spadafora, OD

About Ann Marie Spadafora, OD

Dr. Ann Spadafora has been providing comprehensive eyecare for over 25 years. She was awarded her Doctor of Optometry with High Distinction in 1993. Her studies offered her the opportunity to have rotations in Glaucoma management, Pediatric Eyecare, and Ocular Disease Management. Upon graduation from The Michigan College of Optometry (MCO), Dr. Spadafora enjoyed providing comprehensive eyecare for all generations while practicing at Henry Ford Optimeyes. This was especially true as she participated in the Infant See Program and provided eye care throughout Southeast Michigan with the Nursing Home Eyecare Group. In 2004, she was given the opportunity to practice at Ruijin University Hospital in Shanghai, China. She was the lead Optometrist for this internationally ranked hospital’s Eyecare Center. Upon returning to the States, she continued practicing at Henry Ford Optimeyes and served the Detroit community at their Main Campus. She is honored to continue Dr. Zak’s legacy in serving Clarkston and the surrounding neighborhoods for over 30 years. Dr. Spadafora’s husband, Paul, and her two daughters enjoy the time they spend biking and cheering on their Clarkston High School Wolves. Dr. Ann M. About Anthony Spencer, OD

Dr. Spencer was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. He earned his Bachelor of Business degree in 1992 from Texas Christian University. He attended the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. After receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2006, he went on a VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) trip to provide free eye exams and glasses to the underserved in the Dominican Republic. He recently retired from the United States Air Force where he practiced as an Optometrist for nine years. He participated in two military medical humanitarian trips; one to the Arctic Circle in northern Alaska and the other to the Kingdom of Tonga in the South Pacific. His wife, Ruth, is also retired from the United States Air Force, and they are blessed with two sons and a daughter who attend Frenship ISD. Dr. Spencer is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and the South Plains Optometric Society. Dr. Spencer specializes in Glaucoma/Therapeutic Optometry, Specialty Contact Lenses, Family Vision and Laser Vision Evaluations with the Laser Eye Center of Lubbock.

She grew up in the south and loves warm weather and outdoor activities. She moved to Michigan upon marrying her husband, and they have two beautiful daughters. Dr. Chumbler and her family enjoy Michigan’s change of seasons and cheering on our Detroit Lions. She is very active with her daughters’ travel volleyball and softball teams and her family is often found enjoying the tree lighting in our community with their daughters singing in the Christmas choir.
