It also involves problem solving and critical thinking which makes it challenging. About Dr. Lori Obenauf DIGregory

Dr. Obenauf did her undergraduate work at Purdue University and received a Bachelor's of Science and her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University. Upon graduating, she started working in a primary care optometry practice in Tipton, Indiana for 2 years. She then worked for an ophthalmology practice in Indianapolis for 3 years where she did post operative cataract care and primary care eye exams. She is board certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease and a member of the Indiana optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Obenauf works with all ages and enjoys fitting all types of contact lenses including more challenging fits for astigmatism and multifocal or bifocal lenses. Dr. Obenauf lives in Fishers where she and her husband have raised their three children. When not at work she enjoys jogging with her dog, visiting her older kids at college and spending time with family.

I diagnose and treat glaucoma and we have the special equipment to follow retinal diseases that do not currently require treatment. The reason I became an optometrist is: I like to help people. I like the specialized equipment. As optometrists we make patients’ lives better every day. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Seeing patients every year. I know what’s happening with their eyes, but also in their lives. In my spare time, I enjoy: My husband, Australian shepherd and I like to hike and ski.

He has served as a board member of the New Hampshire Optometric Association as well as the New Hampshire state liaison for the American Optometric Society. I converted a 1975 Porsche 914 to electric 12 years ago and am constantly improving its performance as technology advances.
