Most of our lives are perceived through our sense of sight, it’s an honor to be a part of caring for and maintaining the vision of the patients. How are you helping patients live their best lives? By assessing patient eyecare needs and taking into account their occupation, hobbies, and other visual demands. Hobbies/Interests: Time with my family, photography, traveling, fitness, food/culinary experiences-- I'm a bit of a foodie.

As both an optometrist and an artist, I aim to bring clarity not only to people’s vision but also to their appreciation of life’s vivid details. I aim to deepen understanding and foster a greater appreciation for the world we see and live in. Hobbies/Interests: painting/drawing, yoga, cooking.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? We provide Comprehensive Eye Exams for Adults and Children, Contact Lens Fitting, Diabetic Eye Exams, and Ocular Disease Management. Hobbies: Coaching Basketball, Baseball, Softball and Soccer.

Dr. Johnson is originally from Palmyra, PA right outside of Hershey, PA and is happy to relocate to Northern Delaware. He completed his undergraduate education at Penn State Main Campus earning a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Spanish. He went to optometry school at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia and graduated with High Honors. He completed rotations in ocular disease, hospital ocular health, and pediatrics in both Pennsylvania and South Carolina. After graduating optometry school, Dr. Johnson completed a residency in Ocular Disease in Philadelphia, PA and then moved back home to practice at an ophthalmology practice in Central PA for several years. He has now moved to Delaware and is happily accepting new patients. In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys exercise and running, going to the beach, playing Nintendo, watching Star Wars, spending time with his family and friends, and playing with his chocolate lab, Lexie.

Undergraduate Education: Lock Haven University. Optometry School: Pennsylvania School of Optometry. Residency: Bay Pines VA Hospital. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? By specializes in refractive perioperative care, contact lens-related services, and treatment of eye infections, injuries, and disease. Dr. Johnson is residency trained in ocular disease and primary care optometry, experienced in fitting specialty and non-specialty contact lenses, as well as binocular vision and low vision exams. She co-manages systemic conditions along with other healthcare providers such as primary care physicians, rheumatologists, and neurologists. Dr. Johnson is also an Assistant Professor of Optometry for the University of Virginia and practices with University of Virginia Ophthalmology. Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with family: her husband, daughter and Labrador retriever. Fly-fishing, hiking and travelling.

Dr. Sophia Johnson attended Ferris State University and is a graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry. She helps her local community see their best by providing them with comprehensive eye care and a welcoming environment in her practice. Dr. Johnson likes to spend her spare time reading, painting, and swimming.

The reason I became an optometrist is: Always fascinated with the equipment at the eye doctor growing up. My favorite part of helping my patients is: giving them the best vision possible to they can live their best lives. In my spare time, I enjoy: Running in the parks; splaying sports with my kids.

Dr. Julia Jose completed her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida. Her Optometry degree was completed in Nova Southeastern University, where she also earned a second bachelor’s degree in Vision Sciences. She completed specialty training in diabetic eye exams and ocular disease. Dr. Jose always had a passion for this field, but her passion grew further after she went on a mission trip to Nicaragua during the end of her second year of optometry school. During this eye-opening trip, she helped provide eye care to over 1,000 underserved people of Nicaragua. Dr. Jose is compassionate with her patients, thorough, and most of all personable, which is the biggest compliment she gets. She treats everyone on her chair like they are her friend or family. Dr. Jose moved to Dallas, TX from sunny Florida at the beginning of 2022 after getting married to her husband who is a Dallas native. In her spare time, Dr. Jose likes to spend time with her family and friends, travel, and find new things to do in Dallas.

Clinical Certifications & Specialties: My particular areas of interest are primary care optometry and dry eye. What drives your passion for optometry? I'm excited that I can make a difference in people's' lives. How are you helping patients live their best lives? I strive to address their eye health needs and to help them see as well as possible. I recently moved back to my hometown of Cleveland and am looking forward to getting involved in the local community. Hobbies/Interests: Travel, hiking and spending time with family and friends.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? Dr. Kabiri strives to provide exceptional comprehensive eye care to all patients ranging from children to geriatric adults. Dr. Kabiri specializes in dry eye therapy, myopia management, and contact lens exams. Dr. Kabiri is passionate about giving back to the community and is proud to be part of organizations including Lions Club International, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, and Global Medical Training. Hobbies/Interests: Outside of taking care of her patients, Dr. Kabiri enjoys staying active by going to the gym, hiking, and playing in an adult league soccer club. Some of her favorite hobbies include reading, listening to educational podcasts, and sharing eyecare health/tips through her social media Instagram.
