I enjoy helping others. I worked as an optometric technician with a local optometrist in undergrad and realized that it would likely be a good fit for me. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family--especially outdoors. My favorite part of helping my patients is making sure their eyes stay healthy and solving their vision problems. Talking with my patients throughout the day sometimes makes the day fly by while I'm working.

Dr. Hartman is a graduate of Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois where he earned his bachelor degree in Biology in 1989. In 1993, he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. His areas of interest include contact lenses, ocular disease management and dry eye therapy. Dr. Hartman and his family reside in Liberty Township, where they have been the last fourteen years. Originally from Illinois, Dr. Hartman had lived in Detroit and Denver prior to moving to Cincinnati. Dr. Hartman enjoys woodworking, model railroading and running. He is also a student of history, focusing mostly on The Revolutionary War and the Colonial Period.

Dr. Hatfield practiced in several different states and practice until 2013 when she founded her practice, Tradewinds Optometric Group, in Mooresville, North Carolina. Dr. Hatfield is active in the community and is a member of the North Carolina State Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association. She resides in Davidson with her husband, their son Alexander, and their Siberian husky, Aspen. She is an avid fan of Marshall University sports and the Carolina Panthers!
