My favorite part of helping my patients is: I love our profession. It is ever-changing for the betterment of our patient. I embrace those changes and will always introduce them to the patient when they see me for eye care. As much as I love our profession, I cherish the relationships I can built over the years. Undergraduate Education: Skidmore College; Optometry School: Pennsylvania College of Optometry; The reason I became an optometrist is because I like health sciences and it ran in the family. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, hiking with my dogs, and traveling. My favorite part of helping my patients is giving someone glasses or contacts for the very first time.

Dr. Grace is a graduate from the University of New Mexico. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston. Dr. Grace is therapeutically licensed and an optometric Glaucoma Specialist. As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Grace provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Grace is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, Dr. Grace is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and hypertension. Dr. Grace works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses.

Dr. Granado-Chaney is an University of Houston College of Optometry graduate. She completed externships in ocular pathology at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and in primary care at the Centre Boston de Optometria y Ofthalmologia in Madrid Spain. She has completed course work in Public Health from the University of North Texas. Dr. Granado-Chaney is a therapeutic optometrist, and as such she is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular medical conditions as well as being an optometric glaucoma specialist. She is a member of the AOA, Texas Optometric Association and the Dallas County Optometric Society. She is a Diplomate, in the American Board of Optometry.

Certifications/Award: Certified Paragon CRT/Euclid Orthokeratology, Published in multiple medical journals in refractive surgery. Ophthalmology, and the Journal of Cataract Refract Surg. By providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, diabetic eye exams, contact lens fitting, binocular visual dysfunctions, and ocular disease management. During my tenure as an active duty naval optometrist from 2011 to 2023, I had the privilege of delivering comprehensive ocular health and commissioning examinations to military members and their beneficiaries. This experience allowed me to not only serve our dedicated service members but also make a meaningful impact on their families' well-being. I take immense pride in providing routine and emergency eye care services to our community, knowing that my work enables individuals to enjoy their best possible lives. My passion for helping others through the realm of optometry has been a driving force throughout my career. I find great satisfaction in ensuring that people have access to high-quality eye care, which, in turn, contributes to their overall health and quality of life. In addition to my professional career, I'm also a dedicated "hockey mom," actively supporting my children's love for the sport. I'm a passionate skier, finding exhilaration on snow-covered slopes.

What drives your passion for optometry? I get up every day knowing that I’m going to help my patients see their best and help preserve the vision of those with eye diseases and injuries. That is very satisfying to me. How are you helping patients live their best lives? Vision is our most important sense. So much information is taken in with our eyes. I aspire to optimize and protect my patients’ vision. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? I hope to achieve my patients’ vision goals and exceed their expectations. I want them to be as excited as I am to be in our office. How are you impacting your local community? I’m a proud volunteer for Remote Area Medical Corps which provides vision, medical and dental care to those who can’t afford it. Hobbies/Interests: I’m on the panel which determines Golf Digest Magazine’s America’s 100 Greatest Courses. I recently completed playing all the courses on that list.
